This Privacy Policy describes how Ordr ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you interact with our services and SMS/WhatsApp messaging programs operated on behalf of participating businesses.
SMS & Mobile Messaging
Ordr collects mobile phone numbers for the purpose of sending order confirmations, feedback requests, Google review invitations, and occasional restaurant promotions via SMS.
All categories of personal data collected exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent. This information will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Mobile opt-in consent is not transferable and is collected solely for communication between the restaurant and the customer who placed the order. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time.
1. Information We Collect
When you interact with a participating business using Ordr, we may collect:
- Mobile Phone Number: Provided when you place an order via phone, in-person, or online
- Name: Provided during order placement for identification
- Order Information: Items ordered, pickup/delivery details, and order status
- Feedback & Ratings: Responses to satisfaction surveys and review requests
- Account Information: Email address, password, and business details if you are a subscribing business
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information for the following purposes:
- Order Notifications: SMS/WhatsApp messages about your order status and confirmation
- Feedback & Review Requests: Messages requesting your feedback on your experience, including links to leave a Google review
- Promotional Messages: Occasional offers, discounts, or announcements from the business you ordered from
- Service Improvement: Analyzing usage patterns to improve our platform
- Customer Support: Responding to inquiries
3. Mobile Information — Non-Sharing Disclosure
We will NOT sell, rent, loan, trade, lease, or otherwise transfer for profit any phone numbers or personal information collected through our SMS/WhatsApp program to any unaffiliated third party for that party's own marketing purposes.
Your mobile phone number and any data collected as part of our messaging programs will never be shared with or disclosed to third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing is limited solely to service providers necessary to operate our platform (e.g., Twilio for message delivery), and such providers are contractually bound to use your information only on our behalf.
4. Message Frequency
- You may receive up to 4 messages per month per business
- Message types include: order confirmations, feedback requests, Google review invitations, and occasional promotional offers

5. Consent & Opt-In
You consent to receive messages when you:
- Place an order at a participating business and provide your mobile number
- Receive verbal disclosure during the ordering process that you will receive SMS/WhatsApp messages, including feedback requests, review invitations, and occasional promotions
- Reply YES to a confirmation message we send after your first order
Your consent is not a condition of purchase. You may place orders without opting in to messaging.
6. Opt-Out
Reply STOP to any message to immediately opt out. You will receive a single confirmation and no further messages. You may also email us at support@tryordr.tech to request removal.

8. Data Sharing
We may share your information only in these limited circumstances:
- Service Providers: Twilio (SMS/WhatsApp delivery), Vapi (AI phone agent), and Supabase (secure data storage), bound by confidentiality agreements
- Participating Businesses: Order details shared with the business where you placed your order, solely for fulfillment
- Legal Requirements: If required by law, court order, or government regulation
9. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS/SSL), secure database storage with row-level access controls, and regular security monitoring.
10. Data Retention
- Phone numbers are removed from messaging within 24 hours of opt-out
- Order data is retained for the business relationship duration
- You may request full deletion by contacting us
11. Children's Privacy
Our services are not intended for individuals under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

- Access, correct, or delete your personal data
- Opt out of messaging at any time (reply STOP)
- Request a copy of your data
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
